This Privacy Policy applies to the Site and to all products and services offered by Plixotech.

We are committed to protecting your privacy and to handling your personal data transparently, fairly and lawfully, in accordance with the EU General Data Protection Regulation (Regulation (EU) 2016/679, the “GDPR”) and the Estonian Personal Data Protection Act (Isikuandmete kaitse seadus). By using the Site, you acknowledge that you have read and understood this Privacy Policy.

2. Owner and Data Controller

The owner and data controller responsible for your personal data is Plixotech, with its registered office at Harju maakond, Tallinn, Lasnamäe linnaosa, Tuulemäe tn 5, 11411, Estonia (registry code 17527697).

3. Information We Collect

Depending on how you interact with the Site, we may collect the following categories of personal data:

  • Identification and contact data: first name, last name, email address, phone number and company name.
  • Billing and address data: billing address, city, country, county or state, ZIP/postal code, Tax ID and VAT number.
  • Account data: your login credentials, language and account preferences.
  • Order and transaction data: the products you purchase, your purchase history and order numbers, together with the information needed to complete payment. The specific payment data collected depends on the payment method used; payment-card and bank-account details are handled directly by our payment providers and are not stored by us.
  • Communications data: the content of messages you send us through contact forms, email or live chat.
  • Usage and technical data: your IP address, device and browser information, the pages you view and other usage data collected through cookies and similar technologies.

We do not intentionally collect special categories of personal data (such as data revealing health, religion or political opinions).

4. How We Collect Information

We collect personal data:

  • directly from you — when you register, place an order, complete a contact form, subscribe to our newsletter or use live chat;
  • automatically — as you use the Site, through cookies and similar technologies; and
  • from third parties — for example, payment providers confirming a transaction, or affiliate partners who referred you to the Site, where applicable.

5. Purposes of Processing

We process personal data for the following purposes:

  • to provide our products and services, including processing orders, payments and any delivery;
  • to create and manage your account and to authenticate you;
  • to respond to your enquiries and provide customer and technical support;
  • to send service-related communications and, where you have consented, newsletters and marketing;
  • to measure and improve the performance and usability of the Site (analytics);
  • to display and measure advertising, including remarketing, where you have consented;
  • to prevent fraud and abuse and to ensure the security of the Site; and
  • to comply with our legal, tax and accounting obligations.

6. Legal Bases for Processing

Under the GDPR, we rely on the following legal bases for processing your personal data:

  • Performance of a contract (Art. 6(1)(b)) — to provide the products and services you order and to manage your account;
  • Consent (Art. 6(1)(a)) — for non-essential cookies, analytics, marketing communications and interest-based advertising; you may withdraw your consent at any time;
  • Legal obligation (Art. 6(1)(c)) — to comply with our tax, accounting and other legal requirements; and
  • Legitimate interests (Art. 6(1)(f)) — to secure the Site, prevent fraud and improve our services, where these interests are not overridden by your rights and freedoms.

7. Third-Party Services and Data Processors

We use third-party service providers to operate the Site and run our business. These providers act as our processors, or in some cases as independent controllers, and may process personal data on our behalf. Rather than naming individual vendors (which may change over time), we describe them by category. The categories of service we use include:

  • Hosting and platform services — to host the Site and store data;
  • Payment processing — to process payments securely; payment-card data is handled directly by the payment provider;
  • Analytics — to understand how the Site is used;
  • Advertising, remarketing and behavioural targeting — to deliver and measure advertising (subject to your consent);
  • Email delivery, newsletters and customer-database management — to send communications and manage our contacts;
  • Live chat and customer support — to communicate with you in real time;
  • Customer-feedback and review services — to invite and manage product reviews;
  • Heat-mapping and session analytics — to analyse how the Site is used (subject to your consent);
  • Spam protection — to protect our forms from abuse;
  • Tag management and content delivery — to manage scripts and to serve content such as fonts; and
  • Affiliate-tracking services — to attribute referrals from our affiliate partners.

We require our processors to provide appropriate safeguards and to process personal data only on our documented instructions and in accordance with the GDPR.

8. Cookies and Tracking Technologies

The Site uses cookies and similar technologies. Strictly necessary cookies are used to operate the Site and do not require your consent. Analytics, advertising and other non-essential cookies are used only with your consent, which you can give, manage or withdraw at any time through our cookie banner or settings. For more details, please see our Cookie Policy at https://plixo.tech/cookies.

9. Disclosure of Information

We do not sell your personal data. We may share it with: the service providers described in Section 7; payment providers and financial institutions to process payments; our professional advisers; and competent authorities or third parties where required by law or where necessary to establish, exercise or defend legal claims. In the event of a merger, acquisition or sale of assets, personal data may be transferred to the relevant party, subject to this Privacy Policy.

10. International Data Transfers

Some of our service providers may process personal data outside the European Economic Area (EEA). Where this occurs, we ensure that appropriate safeguards are in place, such as an adequacy decision of the European Commission or the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses, so that your personal data continues to receive a level of protection consistent with the GDPR.

11. Data Retention

We retain personal data only for as long as necessary to fulfil the purposes set out in this Privacy Policy, including to satisfy any legal, accounting or reporting requirements. Order and invoicing data are generally retained for the period required by applicable accounting and tax law. When personal data is no longer needed, we delete or anonymise it.

12. How We Protect Your Information

We implement appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect personal data against unauthorised access, alteration, disclosure or destruction. However, no method of transmission over the internet or method of electronic storage is completely secure, and we therefore cannot guarantee its absolute security.

13. Your Rights Under the GDPR

Subject to the conditions set out in the GDPR, you have the right to:

  • have inaccurate personal data rectified;
  • have your personal data erased (the ‘right to be forgotten’);
  • restrict the processing of your personal data;
  • receive your personal data in a portable format (data portability);
  • object to processing, including processing for direct marketing; and
  • withdraw your consent at any time, without affecting the lawfulness of processing carried out before withdrawal.

To exercise any of these rights, please contact us at support@plixo.tech. We will respond within the time limits required by law (generally within one month).

14. Right to Lodge a Complaint

If you believe that our processing of your personal data infringes data-protection law, you have the right to lodge a complaint with the Estonian Data Protection Inspectorate (Andmekaitse Inspektsioon), Tatari 39, 10134 Tallinn, Estonia — website https://www.aki.ee, email info@aki.ee — or with the supervisory authority in your country of residence or place of the alleged infringement.

15. Children's Privacy

The Site is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from children below the age of consent under applicable law. If you believe that a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us so that we can take appropriate steps to delete it.
